The private banking activities of Fortis Bank Nederland will operate officially under the
name MeesPierson as from
“Now that we are no longer part of Fortis, the public company, the addition of the Fortis
brandname is no longer required,” says MeesPierson CEO Fred Bos.
“The MeesPierson brand is backed by a long tradition and is a well-established name in the
financial sector. It is also valued highly by our clients and staff. The name change was therefore
an obvious decision,” he adds.
MeesPierson is part of Fortis Bank Nederland (HOLDING) N.V. Fortis Bank Nederland N.V. is the holding
company in the Netherlands for a variety of businesses providing (inter)national banking and financial services and is
present in over 20 countries.
Fortis Bank Nederland offers a comprehensive package of products and services to private, corporate and
